Table Mountain

On Top Table Mountain - Clouds
While we were up Table Mountain, the clouds obstructed most of the view.  This is facing away from the coast, and the clouds were swirling about the valley.
The clouds cleared as soon as we entered the cable car to journey back to the lower station.  It is a very dramatic escarpment.

Victoria & Albert Waterfront and Robben Island

V&A Waterfront
The Victoria and Albert Waterfront is the toursit zone on Cape Town.  Full of restaurants and shops, with a big lean toward the visitor.  Curio shops are in abundance.  To a Sydney-sider, it is a large version of Darling Harbour.
Robben Island is accessed via ferry from the Waterfront.  Once on the island you are taken for a tour around the now closed jail for political prisoners, and a drive around the island to prisoner work sites and view points.

Moon rise at Sunset - Lamberts Bay
Lamberts Bay.  Moonrise at dusk.  Our first campsite, our first night on the truck, and the coldest night of the trip!
Peguins at Lamberts Bay.  There are a few penguins, seals, cormorants, and a whole LOT of gannets.

Gannet
One of the thousands of gannets at the Lamberts Bay colony.  Very elegant birdies!
